A very special surprise appearance by our resident Alchemist Loran.
He just happened to be in town for a series of shows, and luckily his
schedule allowed for an afternoon amongst family and friends.
This was a wonderful surprise for everyone, particularly the members of
The Dark Place.

Maude and the guest of honour.
*Maude was tireless in bringing people in off the street.
The majority of the attendees were walk-in traffic, due to
Maude and her antics with Mr. Ratt's pet bat.*
We all thank you Maude, especially the bats....

This wonderful bat house was created and donated by a dear friend of the Dark Place,
our webmaster, Brother Jim. We don't get to see enough of Brother Jim, especially now that he and his family are living on the outer limits.....
The bat house is made of old barn board and coated with a natural stain,
all recycled, natural products, the coffin handles hand forged by Brother Jim.
Thank you Jim, we are forever indebted.....
