Lady Silver

A Mediaeval Gothic at heart from the cradle, Lady Silver is an investment banking professional by day and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. She is also the creative force behind her gothic accessory enterprise, Lady Silver Creations, in which she joyfully combines her organizational talents and her passion for the dark historical.
Lady Silver is a founding member of the Dark Place.

Lady Death

Lady Death is a member of the Association for Gravestone Studies and has given lectures and tours on tombstone symbolism and cemetery design. She is also a writer. Recently, two of her short stories were published in Morbid Curiosity and Black Petals Horror Science Fiction magazines. When she isn't exploring graveyards or writing dark tales, she performs early 19th century dances with the Fort York Regency Dancers.

Jennifer Attwells

I joined the Dark Place in late 2004 because within it I had found a way to express the darker side of myself (because out in the depths of Scarberia it seemed so lost).
I had also found an accepting group of individuals, with varied interests but much in common. I enjoy a more natural approach to life and am currently independently studying Wicca as a personal religion. I enjoy other crafty things, being creative with my hands by weaving and painting, but I also enjoy the beauty and elegance of the dark romantic period, mostly through reading and movies.
My darkest geekiest secret: huge Star Wars freak

Fraser Potma

Sole proprietor of Chain by Knight
chainmaille designs and fashions,
avid Dr. Who fanatic and 1st level Reiki Practitioner.

The Black Tulip

I am the Hungarian flower among the Darklings of The Dark Place, a group in which I feel welcome and much more at ease than anywhere in ‘daylight’ society! Along my life’s path, I have discovered and in turn depicted through acrylic paintings the Victorian Language of Flowers, which I believe is a true representation of my inner self. I enjoy Ambient, New Age and Classical music as well as the Golden Oldies, and among my other interests are supernatural phenomena, fantasy fiction (LOTR), wedding photography and planning, period clothing and designing interior spaces.

Sorcha Bronwyn is an Aquarian Fire-Dragon with a love for all things dark and morbid. Once a part of the Toronto Goth Club scene, she now expresses her darker tendencies in a less public arena.

Her artistic interests include Giger, Gorey, Botticelli, Van Gogh, and Dali. Her musical tastes vary from Pink Floyd to NIN, with a great appreciation for string-based classical music. Marshall Lewis

"Most of us have a connection to a certain century or period, for some it's Victorian for others the Middle Ages, and as for myself most definitely without a doubt it's the 18th century. My name is Marshall Lewis and I am studying the art of Historic Tailoring and Dressmaking from the Renaissance to the 1890's. My passion is fueled by my connection to an age of Court and Carriages, Dress and Form. Other studies of mine have gone deep into our forgotten past and some will build the Future, I have come to consider myself a Rococo dreamer and Revolutionary.
