Jennifer
Attwells
I joined the Dark Place in late 2004 because within
it
I had found a way to express the darker side of myself
(because out in the depths of Scarberia it seemed so lost).
I had also found an accepting group of individuals, with varied
interests but much in common. I enjoy a more natural approach
to life and am currently independently studying Wicca as a personal
religion. I enjoy other crafty things, being creative with my
hands by weaving and painting, but I also enjoy the beauty and
elegance of the dark romantic period,
mostly through reading and movies.
My darkest geekiest secret: huge Star Wars freak

Loran
{ The Alchemist }
Internationally
acclaimed on stage, T.V. and movies, Loran is the resident Wizard-Alchemist
of the society. Among others, he performed at the SkyDome, and
opened for the Rolling Stones and AC/DC at the Toronto SARS concert.
Inspired by his love of the 15th Century Medieval Europe, Loran’s
multi-sensory wizardry evokes mysticism, emotions and elegance.
Also, the movie industry regularly calls upon Loran as a consultant
and actor. He has been seen in many television series such as
Witchblade, Mutant-X, Relic Hunter and in superstar Jackie Chan's
movie "Tuxedo".
When Loran is not working on new projects, he likes to play drums,
read and to share good times with friends.

Kathleen
"The Lady Luna" Gunn,
Maine,
U.S.A.
Our
first born and bred American member, the
Lady Luna is a darkly Gothic soul from the womb to
the tomb...she has been enthralled by the beauty and elegance
of the Victorian times since early childhood. Currently residing
on the southern Maine coastline, she favours walks through old
graveyards at twilight, reading Victorian literature by candlelight
and listening to dark ambient and classical music.
While her days are spent as an executive administrative assistant,
her evenings are devoted to family, friends and the
seeking out of things unseen.

Marshall
Lewis
"Most
of us have a connection to a certain century or period, for some
it's Victorian for others the Middle Ages, and as for myself most
definitely without a doubt it's the 18th century. My name is Marshall
Lewis and I am studying the art of Historic Tailoring and Dressmaking
from the Renaissance to the 1890's. My passion is fueled by my connection
to an age of Court and Carriages, Dress and Form. Other studies
of mine have gone deep into our forgotten past and some will build
the Future, I have come to consider myself a Rococo dreamer and
Revolutionary."
